Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing stations, storage rooms, and equipment to uphold safety standards
• Assist with dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring delicate items are handled with expert care
• Support the overall cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas by providing freshly laundered linens and towels promptly
• Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to prevent accidents or damage
• Keep accurate records of laundry loads processed and monitor inventory levels of supplies such as detergents and cleaning agents

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, pressing machines, and dry cleaning tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations
• Hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
