Job Summary
This is an entry level landscape laborer position with significant growth potential. We are focused on rapid growth and the right candidate can grow into a supervisor position as additional employees are added. In this role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping tasks including planting, lawn care, mulching, bush trimming, retaining walls and hardscape installation and maintenance. Your hands-on work will help transform outdoor environments, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and sustainable. This position will offer the potential for significant overtime during peak season.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and leaf removals
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as digging, edging, and installing hardscape features
  • Operate mowers including push mowers, commercial walk behind mowers, and commercial stand on mowers
  • Carry and stack wall stone and pavers for hardscaping projects
  • Spread materials including mulch, stone, topsoil etc. using hand tools
  • Support excavation projects by spotting for operator and using laser level and measuring equipment

Requirements

  • A strong willingness to learn is essential, prior landscape experience is a bonus but candidate must be willing to learn and grow into the position
  • Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and basic equipment operation is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and hardscape installation techniques is a plus
  • Must be able to lift 100lbs repeatedly and transport materials over difficult terrain
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to the shop each day is required
  • Must be willing to work a varying work schedule dependent on weather and work requirements
