Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing mulch or soil amendments
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, trenching, pruning, and installing irrigation systems
• Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces, laying pavers or stones, and installing features like walkways or patios
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments
• Assist with snow plowing operations during winter seasons to ensure safe access for clients and staff
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health care and irrigation system installation is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently in all tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude; reliable attendance is essential
