RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Landscape Crew Supervisor is a hands-on field leader responsible for executing irrigation and landscape projects while supervising a small crew (2–4 team members)and executing irrigation and landscape projects. This role focuses on production, quality, and daily crew coordination. The Landscape Crew Supervisor works alongside the team, ensures work is completed correctly and efficiently, and communicates job progress to the Operations Manager. There is a potential for year round work with snow removal service as an equipment operator.
- Lead installation of irrigation systems (PVC, drip, valves, controllers)
- Perform irrigation troubleshooting and repairs
- Conduct spring startups and fall winterizations of irrigation systems
- Read and follow irrigation plans and layouts
- Ensure systems are installed cleanly and correctly
- Lead planting, grading, sod, mulch, and landscape improvement projects
- Assist with drainage solutions and minor hardscape work
- Maintain high standards of finish work and site cleanliness
- Operate equipment (Skidsteer, trencher, mini-excavator and Bobcat Toolcat)
- Direct the daily work assignments on-site
- Train and support crew members
- Maintain job pace and productivity
- Report progress and job needs to the Operations Manager
- Track materials used and alert Operations Manager when supplies are low
- Required to drive company vehicles upon request
- Report deficiencies relating to Emerald Property Care tools or equipment so repairs can be made or replacements acquired
- Provide receipts for all company related purchases to Operations Manager
- Responsible for personal and crew safety
- Ensure safety standards are followed and a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment
- Communicate consistently and effectively with team
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid and current driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to operate landscape equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow directions and routines
- Manage multiple tasks and set priorities to meet project deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Organized and detail oriented
- Self-Starter
- Ability to work 40 + hrs a week
- Adapt well to weather and operational conditions

- The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs.
PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years irrigation and landscape experience
- Prior crew lead or senior technician experience
- Strong irrigation troubleshooting knowledge
- Spanish speaking skills
