Job Overview
North State Gardens, Inc. is currently seeking to hire a full-time Landscape Crew Leader. In this energetic role, you will lead a team of skilled landscapers to deliver top-quality landscaping, lawn care, and horticultural services. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Leading and superviseing a crew of landscapers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
• Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs
• Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees
• Weeding and mulching landscape beds
• Installing new mulch and sod
• Watering gardens, lawns, and landscapes
• Monitoring and maintaining plant health
• Assisting in small landscape installations
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a secure work environment

Experience and Requirements

• Proven 1+ years experience in landscaping/pruning (dealbreaker) Please show experience on your resume
• Posses a valid NC driver license and a clean driving record (dealbreaker)
• Demonstrate a background in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticulture techniques or equivilent
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Posses previous experience in supervising teams engaged in landscape maintenance or construction
• Maintain a positive attitude: work well with clients and colleagues
• Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for the job
• Use good communication skills with colleagues and clients
• Comply with all North State Gardens’ policies and procedures
• Possess a familiarity with safety standards and procedures in outdoor work environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
• Ability to bend and stoop continually
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
