TYPE OF APPT: Permanent

TYPE OF POSITION: Full Time

JURISDICTIONAL CLASS: Non-Competitive Civil Service, Labor Class

PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 26 weeks (minimum 8 weeks, maximum 26 weeks)

SALARY RANGE: $17.82 (Step 1) – $20.38/hr. (Step 10)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be able to perform moderately heavy physical labor, and be able to read, write and understand the English language. Must meet Civil Service requirements.

PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS:

• High School Diploma
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to meet physical requirement of job
• Knowledge of the maintenance and repair of buildings, fixtures and equipment
• Any combination of training and experience sufficient to indicate ability to do the work.
