Job Description:

We are seeking a Full-Time hard-working and self-motivated individual with the willingness to learn. You will be responsible for underground and/or aerial utility construction and general labor while maintaining OSHA/DOT’s guidelines.

Work Environment & Conditions:
· Field-based position working on active construction sites

· Standard schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday 40-hour work week (overtime opportunities available)

· Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions on uneven terrain

· Physical demands include frequent lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods

· May require work in confined spaces and around heavy construction equipment

Safety:

· Requires personal protective equipment to be worn

· Safety glasses

· Hearing protection

· Head protection

· Steel-toed work boots

· and other protective equipment as required

Minimum Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age or older

· Maintain a valid and clean NYS Class D driver license.

· Must have reliable transportation to and from work

· Must be able to lift 50+ pounds with the ability to sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods of time.

· Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

· Must be fluent in English and be able to follow oral and written instructions

· Must be able to work with a team and interact effectively, cooperatively, and professionally.

· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

· Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance

· Basic understanding of construction safety practices

· Must be able to perform general construction activities and other tasks as assigned

· Must provide your own standard hand tools

· Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

· Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B)

· 1+ years of construction or manual labor experience

· Previous experience in Aerial or Underground utility construction

· OSHA 10

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
