We are looking for a Kitchen Manager who understands that great operations are not about chaos or heroics. They are about structure, standards, and repeatability.

Responsibilities: This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own the day-to-day function of the kitchen.

  • Lead and manage all BOH staff
  • Build and maintain schedules that support service flow and labor targets
  • Train, coach, and hold the team accountable to standards and provide ongoing development opportunities through coaching and performance feedback.
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and plating execution
  • Oversee prep, inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Control food cost and reduce waste
  • Support service during peak hours and problem-solve in real time
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests
  • Utilize POS systems for order management, cash handling, and sales reporting
  • Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff coverage during peak hours and ensuring smooth restaurant operation

Qualifications: We are not looking for someone who just “runs a kitchen.” We are looking for someone who understands systems.

  • Experience in high-volume kitchens
  • Strong leadership presence and accountability
  • Ability to train and develop a team, not just manage one
  • Clear understanding of food cost, labor, and inventory controls
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to move with urgency without sacrificing consistency
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
  • Hospitality management background with experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
