The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for the supervision and entertainment of children at the hotel’s kids club. This position involves ensuring that children are safe, comfortable, and engaged in age-appropriate activities. The attendant creates a fun and educational environment, providing a memorable experience for young guests while maintaining a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome children to the kids club in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, monitoring their activities and interactions.
- Supervise children during play, crafts, games, and other recreational activities, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Engage children in various fun and age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, group games, storytelling, sports, or movie time.
- Plan and organize daily schedules of activities and events for children, keeping them entertained and engaged.
- Tailor activities to different age groups, ensuring they are suitable for the children’s developmental stages and interests.
- Lead group activities like scavenger hunts, team-building games, or themed parties, ensuring that children are participating in a positive and inclusive manner.
- Ensure that the kids club area is safe, clean, and organized, free from any hazards.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures, including first-aid and emergency response if needed.
- Monitor children to prevent accidents, handle minor injuries or issues, and ensure that each child is supervised at all times or special needs their child may have while in the club.
- Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child’s activities and well-being.
- Be available to answer questions and address any concerns from parents regarding their child’s participation in kids club activities.
- Prepare and set up the activity area before children arrive and clean up afterward.
- Help with maintaining a stock of supplies, such as toys, games, and arts and crafts materials.
- Foster an environment of fun and positive interaction among children, encouraging socialization and teamwork.
- Address any behavioral issues promptly and in a calm, professional manner, ensuring children follow the rules and guidelines of the kids club.
- Handle any issues or complaints professionally and escalate to management if needed.
- Create a welcoming, friendly, and engaging atmosphere for children, ensuring they have a fun and memorable experience at the kid’s club.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the effective operation of the department and the broader goals of the property
