About this role

The Junior Waiter is responsible for supporting the front-of-house team in delivering a friendly, efficient, and professional guest experience. The role includes assisting with table setup, welcoming guests, taking and delivering orders, clearing tables, and supporting senior waiters during service. The Junior Waiter is expected to follow service standards, maintain cleanliness and organization, communicate effectively with the kitchen and beverage teams, and develop strong knowledge of the menu and overall service operation.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a waiter, food runner, or front-of-house role is preferred, ideally within premium cafés, hotels, restaurants, or quality-driven hospitality concepts. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, order taking, table setup, guest interaction, and hygiene standards is preferred. The candidate must be polite, energetic, reliable, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills, professional appearance, attention to detail, and the ability to follow service procedures and instructions consistently are essential.
