We have an opening for an Inventory Specialist who will assist in running the day-to-day operations of our stocked hardware, as-needed parts, and software/licensing renewals.
The Inventory Control Specialist, oversees the ordering, stocking, receiving and distributing processes of the shop’s products and supplies.
Their primary duties include
Primary duties of this position include:
- Ordering PC, Server, and Networking Equipment for our clients
- Purchase and renewal of software licensing
- Inventory control and tracking
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Process merchandise to return (RMAs)
- Track incoming and outgoing products
- Data entry of Point of Sale and Inventory tracking systems
- Setting reorder quantities and levels
- Set pricing per industry norms
- Developing procedures for loss mitigation
- Create quotes, estimates, and invoices for client purchases
- Collaborate with technical personnel for proper selection of items
- Vendor relationship management
- Keep up-to-date with technology trends and update inventory as needed Requirements: Qualification requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an inventory role
- Full-time or Part-time schedules available
- Able to use a computer and other office technology
- Familiarity with PC, Server, Networking and other IT devices and components
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with cost and pricing management
- Attention to detail Reports to: Supervisor Salary / Wage: $18/hr
