Job Summary

We are looking for Interior designer with sales experience, responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering functional, innovative, and aesthetically appealing interior spaces. This role involves working closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure successful project execution while meeting client expectations, timelines, and budgets. In addition to design responsibilities, the candidate will actively contribute to business development, client acquisition, and sales activities to support company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and space-planning solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, technical documentation, and 3D visualizations.
• Meet with clients to understand project requirements, preferences, objectives, and budgets.
• Present design proposals and revise concepts based on client feedback.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure accurate design implementation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, documentation, and client communications.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively participate in sales and business development activities.
• Generate leads, attend client meetings, prepare quotations, and support contract negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and industry partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovative materials, and emerging design technologies.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in interior design and interior contracting projects.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, client acquisition, or project sourcing within the interior design, fit-out, construction, or related industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
• Strong creativity, design sensibility, and attention to detail.
• Excellent space planning, visualization, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities.
• Ability to prepare proposals, quotations, and project presentations.
• Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Strong network within the UAE construction, real estate, or interior design industry.
• Experience in generating project leads and converting opportunities into successful projects.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes.
• Ability to achieve sales targets while maintaining high design standards.
