Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for all patients prior to appointments or procedures.
  • Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and on time through electronic or manual systems.
  • Track and follow up on submitted claims to ensure timely approval and payment.
  • Handle rejected or denied claims, make necessary corrections, and resubmit.
  • Maintain proper documentation of insurance approvals, claims, and payment records.
  • Coordinate with insurance representatives for pre-authorizations and approvals.
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, coverage limits, and co-payment requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance company requirements and medical center policies.
  • Generate daily and monthly insurance reports for management review.
  • Support the finance and reception teams in resolving insurance-related billing queries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Insurance Coordinator in a healthcare or clinic setting (experience in Kuwait preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of medical insurance processes, policies, and claim procedures.
  • Familiarity with insurance portals and healthcare management software.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with medical coding.
  • MOH license or eligibility preferred.
  • Immediate joiners will be given preference.
