HSE Officer

Full job description

We are looking for a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices at the workplace. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company standards
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions
  • Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety records
  • Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant UAE experience
