Job Description:
As a Housing Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of team member accommodations. Your role is essential in ensuring a comfortable and hygienic living environment for our valued colleagues, in alignment with company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas within the accommodation (corridors, lounges, stairwells, kitchens, etc.).
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and report maintenance issues to the Housing Executive.
- Assist with room turnovers, including deep cleaning, bed preparation, and restocking essentials for new arrivals.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene levels across accommodation facilities and take corrective action as needed.
- Support in organizing housing-related tasks such as linen distribution, inventory control, and amenity replenishment.
- Report any violations of housing rules and assist in maintaining order and discipline.
- Provide general assistance to new joiners during move-in.
- Uphold the confidentiality, dignity, and privacy of all residents at all times.
Desired Skill & Expertise:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or facility support (experience in staff housing preferred).
- Good physical condition and ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Basic communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow schedules and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Respect for confidentiality and cultural sensitivity when dealing with colleagues.
