Housing Attendant

Job Description:

As a Housing Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of team member accommodations. Your role is essential in ensuring a comfortable and hygienic living environment for our valued colleagues, in alignment with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas within the accommodation (corridors, lounges, stairwells, kitchens, etc.).
  • Conduct routine inspections of rooms and report maintenance issues to the Housing Executive.
  • Assist with room turnovers, including deep cleaning, bed preparation, and restocking essentials for new arrivals.
  • Monitor cleanliness and hygiene levels across accommodation facilities and take corrective action as needed.
  • Support in organizing housing-related tasks such as linen distribution, inventory control, and amenity replenishment.
  • Report any violations of housing rules and assist in maintaining order and discipline.
  • Provide general assistance to new joiners during move-in.
  • Uphold the confidentiality, dignity, and privacy of all residents at all times.

Desired Skill & Expertise:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or facility support (experience in staff housing preferred).
  • Good physical condition and ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Basic communication skills in English.
  • Ability to follow schedules and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Respect for confidentiality and cultural sensitivity when dealing with colleagues.
