The Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, a luxury 83-room boutique hotel, part of the prestigious Relais and Chateaux, located across from the fashionable Robson Square in the heart of Vancouver’s thriving cosmopolitan core has an excellent career opportunity in the position of Houseman.

We are looking for highly motivated person whom is able to work with minimal supervision, displays great initiative and able to multi-task. Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Job Responsibilities

* To respond promptly to all guest requests.

* To handle guest concerns, compliments and suggestions in a professional informed manner

* Follow all training provided on Safe Work Practices and job procedures to ensure a safe, environment for all guests and colleagues

* Friendly and hospitality focused

* Must be neat, professional and well groomed

* The ability to work well in a team environment required

* All other duties as assigned

* Previous experience within a Hotel Housekeeping department would be an asset

* Must be flexible in scheduling

* Good command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal

* Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures within work area and respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation.

* Ability to work well in a team environment.
