Department: Housekeeping
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Assist Room attendants with laundry and supplies.
2. Strips vacant rooms as needed.
3. Picks up dirty laundry and deliver to appropriate location for laundry cleaning.
4. Deliver clean laundry to attendants for rooms.
5. Delivers supplies to guests as requested.
6. Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
7. Issues supplies and equipment to workers.
8. Examines rooms, halls, and lobby to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and make recommendations to management.
9. Attends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures, and enhance supervisory skills.
10. Clean all public areas and remove trash from housekeeping carts as well as all public area.
11. Clean parking lot and outside areas
12. Setting up and breaking down of meeting rooms when required and making sure that the meeting room is always “show ready”.
13. Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons’ complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
14. Other duties as assigned’
