• Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to established protocols to promote health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet cleaning as needed, utilizing proper floor care techniques.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables to ensure accessibility for staff and visitors.
• Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to maintain a safe working environment while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Adhere to environmental services standards by properly disposing of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while prioritizing high-traffic or high-priority areas.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare settings or hospitals is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, or carpet extraction.
• Demonstrated ability to perform sanitation tasks thoroughly while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
