As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. You will lead a dedicated team of housekeeping staff, overseeing daily operations to create a welcoming environment for all guests. Your leadership will inspire excellence in cleaning practices and foster a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
What you’ll do
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain quality control.
Train and mentor team members on effective cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for your team.
Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests and resolve any issues promptly.
Implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training progress.
Basic qualifications
Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
Preferred qualifications
Previous documented hotel experience is required.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and custodial experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
