Full job description

· Cleans and maintains guest rooms, guest corridors linen rooms and cupboards according to set standards and procedures.

· Replenishes guest supplies.

· Maintain stock supplies.

· Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms to superior.

· Maintains a daily room checklist.

· Reports and submits lost and found articles immediately.

· Reports unusual behaviour/activities on floors to supervisor.

· Carry out valet services when required including delivery of linen or processing laundry orders

· Clean and maintain all hotel public areas according to set standards and procedures.

· Ensure cleaning schedules are completed in a routine and timely manner.

· Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their requests.

· Ensure working knowledge of all hotel public areas.

· Maintain stock levels.

· Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook.

· Comply with company grooming and uniform standards.

· Comply with timekeeping and attendance policies.

· Actively participate in training and development programs and maximise opportunities for self-development.

· Contribute to Housekeeping Departmental Meetings
