Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Housekeeping Inspector to oversee the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of our hospitality environment. Duties

  • Identify areas needing cleaning or maintenance and communicate necessary actions to housekeeping staff or management
  • Monitor floor care procedures, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing, ensuring surfaces are well-maintained and safe for guests
  • Review housekeeping logs and reports to track cleaning schedules and quality control measures
  • Train and guide housekeeping team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and inspection standards
  • Document inspection results accurately and prepare reports highlighting areas for improvement or immediate attention
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality excellence

Experience

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial roles within the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment
  • Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, guest service standards, and hospitality best practices
  • Ability to perform detailed inspections with an eye for quality assurance and safety compliance
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and report findings clearly
  • Physical ability to stand, walk extensively, lift supplies, and perform detailed inspections in various environments
