Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and comfort throughout guest rooms and assigned hotel areas. The role requires attention to detail, a guest-focused attitude, and the ability to deliver exceptional service in accordance with the hotel’s luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas according to the hotel’s standards.
• Change bed linen, make beds, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are clean, hygienic, well-presented, and ready for guest arrival.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, lost property, and any unusual incidents to the supervisor.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain adequate stock on the assigned trolley.
• Follow hotel procedures for guest requests, room status updates, and lost-and-found items.
• Respect guest privacy and follow security and confidentiality procedures.
• Respond to guest requests politely and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping supervisor and other hotel departments as required.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, and hotel grooming standards at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel is an advantage.
• Freshers may be considered depending on the hotel’s requirements.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Professional appearance, personal hygiene, and a guest-oriented mindset.
