Are you seeking part-time side work in housekeeping? A number of cleans vary daily at our resort and you would have the opportunity to work as much as you want based on available inventory needing to be cleaned.

Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort is a luxury resort located in North Myrtle Beach that offers 103 condos on our rental program. These include two- and three-bedroom condos located within the same property. With a reputation for excellent service, we are looking to add part-time housekeepers to our team. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and pride in your work are required. All necessary cleaning chemicals and equipment will be provided.

Housekeepers are an essential part of the company. Ensuring that all guests have a safe and visually appealing visit is a top priority. Daily tasks will include but are not limited to, cleaning rooms, replacing amenities, cleaning common areas, restocking supply rooms and carts, responding to guest requests, and reporting any issues to the appropriate department lead.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Remove linens and towels and replace them with new ones.
  • Vacuum the floors.
  • Strip and make beds per standards.
  • Clean counters and tables
  • Clean kitchen units and bathrooms
  • Ensure that all appliances are present and cleaned.
  • Run dirty dishes through dishwasher and put away.
  • Empty trash
  • Clean using the appropriate cleaning supplies.
  • Execute cleanings per the time scheduled for each condo.
  • Maintain supply room and cart organized/ stocked.
  • Respect and greet guests in a friendly manner.
  • Always be professional and wearing Tilghman uniform and name tag.

Duties include standard cleans after guests depart as well as deep cleans requiring a more extensive checklist of items to be performed. The quality of work will be inspected. Only those interested in maintaining our strict cleaning standards need apply.

Housekeeper Requirements

  • Previous experience is preferred but not required.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance problems/safety hazards.
  • Be able to stay on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Have dependable transportation.
