Join Our Team as a Housekeeper (PRN) at Prairie View!

Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and take pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment? Prairie View is looking for a friendly and professional Housekeeper to join our team on a PRN basis. Your work will make a real difference for our staff, residents, and visitors every day!

What You’ll Do:

• Keep the Prairie View campus spotless and inviting
• Empty trash and maintain assigned areas daily
• Maintain floors free of debris, stains, and clutter
• Clean restrooms daily following written procedures
• Keep offices tidy with weekly cleaning
• Communicate professionally and supportively with coworkers and supervisors

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Experience: 6 months Housekeeping experience preferred
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to read and understand instruction manuals and SDS
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to use chemicals responsibly
• Must be courteous and professional toward customers and co-workers
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist, work on hands/knees, reach above head, push floor equipment, and crawl under furniture, and work on a ladder
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for a minimum of two hours at a time
• Must be able to pass a Kansas Bureau of Investigation screen
