Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various settings such as hotels, hospitals, or industrial facilities. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy creating a clean and welcoming environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Understand all operations of housekeeping and laundry equipment
Follow WHMIS legislation about proper handling of chemicals used in the housekeeping and laundry department
Work cooperatively with other departments in carrying out housekeeping and laundry duties
Follows routines as designated by the Environmental Service Manager or designate
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a Long term Care environment is an asset
Ability to work as a member of a team
Committed, genuine, hardworking, creative, caring
Must be available for morning and afternoon shifts
Proven ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks and respond to multiple demands
Knowledge of the residents Bill of Rights and promotion of same within daily practice
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (Minimum 2 doses received)
