Purpose for the Position: The Houseman will perform a combination of tasks, which maintain the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experience.

The Laundry Attendant maintains constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. Performs all stages of linen processing including collecting transporting sorting weighing loading and unloading (washers’ dryers and chutes) ironing folding storing and delivering. Cleans laundry machinery and laundry area.

The Houseman laundry Essential Responsibilities:

• Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
• Cleans and maintains all public areas, storage areas and administrative areas.
• Dusts, vacuums and overall maintains all public areas, hallways, rest areas and other spaces assigned.
• Collects soiled linens for laundering, received, and stores linen supplies in appropriate locations.
• Vacuums floors.
• Cleans restrooms.
• Removes trash
• Clean outside areas and other arrival areas.
• laundry must be wash dry and fold.
• make sure you finished your laundry and cleaning work before you leave.

• Understand simple instructions.
• Learn simple procedures and techniques.
• Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
