About the Role:

The Housekeeping role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position involves thorough cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas, ensuring that all spaces meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling procedures.
• Certification in housekeeping or custodial services.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels according to established standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying supervisors when stock is low.
