Job Summary
Join our team as a Part-Time Inn Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and passion for hospitality will create a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring each visitor experiences a high standard of comfort and care. Your energetic approach and dedication will contribute directly to the positive reputation of our establishment, making every guest’s stay memorable.

Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, storage spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, to keep all surfaces pristine.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently.
  • Follow established safety and sanitation procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure a healthy environment for guests and staff.
  • Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and maintain property standards.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays and some Sundays. Typical shifts run from 9am to 2pm, depending on the number of checkout cleans & daily cleans
  • Complimentary meal provided each shift from the Summer Kitchen Cafe

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
  • Previous hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain high standards of sanitation throughout all tasks.

  • Must be able to go up and down stairs, and carry/lift heavy objects.
