Housekeeper Job Description:

Purpose of this Position:

The Housekeeper is a member of the Quality Control team, which ensures Ste. Anne’s facilities and guest suites are clean, sanitary and hygienic on a consistent basis. This is an absolutely essential role to play in ensuring Ste. Anne’s provides a relaxing atmosphere to guests, in accordance with Four-Diamond hotel standards. As Ste. Anne’s consists of the Main Inn and several offsites, the Housekeeper is on their feet and walking consistently, and driving frequently. They will perform a wide variety of physical movements and activities to fulfill the duties of their role.

Job Summary:

Full-time and Part-time positions available
Wage: $21.00
Paid bi-weekly
Responsibilities:

Dust and wipe down surfaces
Scrub toilets and bathroom fixtures
Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
Remove and/or organize garbage and recycling, laundry or dishes
Clean and organize furniture and accessories, e.g. make bed, remove stains, fluff pillows/shams, etc.
Replace and/or organize amenities, e.g. robes, chocolates, etc.
Replace/restock supplies, e.g. toilet paper, Kleenex, shower caps, etc.
Wash, shake out or dust mats, e.g. welcome mats, shower mats, etc.
Report maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns to a supervisor
Follow health and safety procedures at all times, e.g. wear proper PPE, handle chemicals responsibly, use safe working practices, etc.
Maintain organized cleaning carts and supplies
