Job Summary
Well.hr Atlantic Inc. is currently recruiting on behalf of Cape Smokey Holding Inc. for multiple Housekeeping Team Member positions supporting the beautiful luxury accommodations at Cormorant Rock Chalets in Ingonish, Cape Breton.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing hospitality team and help build a new housekeeping operation in one of the most stunning locations in Nova Scotia.

Cape Smokey is a rapidly growing mountain resort destination located in the heart of Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Known for its gondola, ski hill, breathtaking ocean views, hiking trails, and tourism development projects, Cape Smokey is becoming one of Atlantic Canada’s most unique lifestyle and adventure destinations.

The housekeeping team will support the luxury ocean-view chalets at Cormorant Rock — modern premium accommodations surrounded by mountains, nature, and the Atlantic Ocean.

We are looking for reliable, positive, and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in beautiful environments and want to be part of a supportive and growing team.

This role includes cleaning and preparing guest accommodations, maintaining high hospitality standards, and helping create an exceptional guest experience for visitors from around the world.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare luxury chalets, guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest supplies and amenities
  • Ensure all accommodations meet high cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • Report maintenance, safety, or inventory issues to management
  • Help create a welcoming, comfortable, and high-quality guest experience
  • Support daily housekeeping and hospitality operations
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and departments
  • Follow health, safety, and cleaning procedures and standards
  • Assist with organizing housekeeping supplies and maintaining storage areas
  • Prepare accommodations efficiently between guest stays
  • Maintain professionalism and attention to detail in all areas of work

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts when needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, or cleaning experience is considered an asset, but is not required
