We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Household Assistant to support a private household in Coal Valley, IL. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient home environment for a family of three and one dog.

This is a full-time, long-term position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and can manage household tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general house cleaning (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas)
• Laundry: washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Organize closets, storage areas, and common spaces
• Perform daily tidying and routine household upkeep
• Maintain overall cleanliness and order throughout the home
• Light pet-related cleanup (dog-friendly home)

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or residential cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog

Compensation & Benefits

• $25 per hour
• Full-time, consistent schedule (Monday–Friday)
