Full-Time Housekeeper – Rosedale, Toronto

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced full-time Housekeeper for a formal private residence in Rosedale, Toronto. This is a live-out, primarily Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility required for evenings and weekends when the principle is in residence. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and daily functioning of the home while working under the direction of the House Manager/Head Housekeeper.

Primary Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping including bed making, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
• Care of fine furnishings, fabrics, finishes, and delicate surfaces
• Regular household laundry and ironing
• Assist with wardrobe care, packing, and unpacking as directed
• Restocking of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and pantry basics
• Sorting and disposal of recycling, compost, and garbage
• Receiving packages and answering the door as needed
• Assisting with pet care (feeding & walking small dogs)
• Maintaining overall tidiness and organization of the residence

Candidate Profile

• Proven housekeeping experience in a private home or hotel
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and product use for fine finishes
• Excellent laundry and ironing skills
• Detail-oriented with organizational habits
• Comfortable working independently while taking direction
• Professional presentation with clear English communication
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
