Full job description

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, attractive, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms daily (beds, bathrooms, floors, dusting)
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors
• Clean hallways, lobbies, and common areas as assigned
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Follow hotel cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Restock housekeeping carts and supplies
• Provide friendly and professional interaction with guests

Qualifications

• No formal education required (high school diploma preferred)
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods
• Must be reliable and punctual

Work Environment

• Fast-paced hotel setting
• Requires weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
• Physically active role (lifting, pushing carts, repetitive tasks)
