Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a charming boutique hotel in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that reflects the character of our unique hotel. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional and authentic guest experience, blending modern comfort with fun design. We’re bringing back traditional hospitality in the modern age. Our mission is to provide guests with an extraordinary stay that they’ll remember long after they’ve left.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean Like a Boss: Make guest rooms and common areas shine with your cleaning expertise—beds perfectly made, floors spotless, and everything in its place. Clean, organize, and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Be the Detail Detective: From dust bunnies to fingerprints, nothing escapes your notice. You’ll be the one who ensures every inch of the hotel is picture-perfect.
  • Room-Ready Master: Prep rooms for new guests with fresh linens, fluffy towels, and that irresistible “just-cleaned” vibe.
  • Tidy Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments (like front desk and maintenance) to keep the hotel running smoothly. Ensure cleanliness of the hotel’s lobby, corridors, and other public spaces. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
  • Guest Happiness Guru: Help make our guests feel right at home by providing them with a clean and comfortable space to relax in. Respond to guest requests for additional services or items such as extra towels or toiletries. Adhere to safety and security protocols to protect both guests and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, such as mattresses and cleaning equipment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Familiarity with cleaning supplies, equipment, and best practices.
