Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase hotel bookings through outside sales efforts and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other B2B partners to generate consistent revenue streams.
- Conduct territory management by identifying new markets and opportunities for growth within the Waterloo region and surrounding areas.
- Develop and implement lead generation initiatives using CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects and sales activities effectively.
- Present compelling product demos of our hotel amenities and services to prospective clients, emphasizing value and upselling opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable agreements while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Oversee account management activities, ensuring ongoing client engagement, repeat business, and positive customer service experiences.
- Utilize analysis skills to evaluate sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to refine strategies continuously.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that highlight our hotel’s unique offerings and attract new business.
- Manage inside sales efforts including cold calling potential clients, follow-up communications, and closing deals efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or management within the hospitality or related industries.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of generating leads and expanding client portfolios.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar tools for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to deliver engaging product demos and presentations.
