Hotel Sales Manager:
Best Western Plus Midwest Inn & Suites , Comfort Suites – South & Best Western Manhattan Inn- Manhattan
Location: Salina & Manhattan, KS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Hourly plus Bonus
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to oversee sales efforts for our Comfort Suites South (Salina), Best Western Plus (Salina) and Best Western (Manhattan) locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and local businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and maximize occupancy.
- Actively solicit new business through cold calls, networking, and local partnerships.
- Manage group and corporate accounts, including contract negotiation and rate management.
- Work closely with General Managers to achieve property goals and maintain brand standards.
- Participate in local community and chamber events to increase visibility and business leads.
- Track and report sales performance and market trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of local corporate, group, and SMERF markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel between both properties as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel software.
