Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all standards of cleanliness are met or exceeded
• Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of all surfaces
• Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and minibar items to ensure guest needs are promptly met
• Handle janitorial tasks efficiently by disposing of trash, cleaning windows, and maintaining storage closets in an organized manner
• Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning when necessary to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to protect yourself and guests while performing cleaning duties

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic above all
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques including vacuuming, dusting, and floor care methods such as mopping or polishing floors
• Experience with janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools is a plus
• Background in hospitality or custodial services demonstrates a commitment to service excellence and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
