Hotel Room Attendant

Key Responsibilities

As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will play a key role in creating lasting first impressions and ensuring every guest room is clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and public areas

Make beds, change linens, and remove soiled towels and garbage

Vacuum, dust, and clean furniture, bathrooms, and surfaces

Replenish guest supplies and amenities in rooms

Follow detailed cleaning standards for stayover and checkout rooms

Report maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas

Record completed rooms using mobile or tracking systems

Communicate guest requests or concerns to housekeeping leadership

Handle lost and found items following hotel procedures

Support deep cleaning projects when required

Follow all health, safety, and hotel policies and procedures

Work weekends, holidays, and scheduled shifts

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience is an asset

Strong communication and organizational skills

High attention to detail and cleanliness standards

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, responsible, and guest-focused attitude

Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
