Responsibilities

  • Conduct nightly audits of all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests with professionalism and warmth.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV systems, conducting patrols of the property, and ensuring guest safety throughout the premises.
  • Prepare detailed shift reports documenting activities, incidents, and financial summaries for management review.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and assisting guests with their needs.
  • Support hotel management by assisting with administrative tasks such as reservations, billing discrepancies, and guest relations to foster a welcoming environment.
  • Cross training in Breakfast prep required for emergency purpose & for guest interactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and guest relations best practices.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in a resort or hotel environment is preferred to understand the nuances of hospitality management.
