Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and cleanliness expected in a hospitality environment, particularly within hotels.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to clean linens and garments according to established protocols.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron items as required, ensuring attention to detail in the cleaning process.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to various departments.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laundry equipment operation and maintenance.
• Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy loads and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
