Duties

• Operate commercial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform quality checks on laundered items to identify stains or damages that may require special attention such as dry cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow all safety protocols related to handling detergents, chemicals, and laundry equipment
• Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low
• Support other housekeeping staff by providing freshly laundered textiles promptly for guest rooms and public areas

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met consistently
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks
