Duties

• Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies and delivering linens or amenities to guest rooms.
• Conduct routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness in service areas, storage closets, and janitorial carts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for efficient maintenance tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of hospitality operations and guest service principles is a plus.
• Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
