Job Summary
Courtyard by Marriott Lake City is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Ensure all public areas, hallways, and service areas are kept clean and organized.
• Handle laundry services for linens and towels, ensuring they are washed, dried, folded, and stored properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining hotel standards of cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or similar roles within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff members.
