POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing and maintaining clean guest rooms and spaces for guests and staff on a daily basis. All employees are required to practice customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.
Change all dirty bed linens
Replace used towels
Sweep/Mop/vacuum
Dusting
Replenish amenities offered in rooms/lobby
Freshen stayover rooms
Ensure that all assigned rooms are clean and ready to be checked into
Stock housekeeping cart at beginning/end of shift
Inspect rooms visually for any maintenance issues that need to be reported
Bring down dirty linen/towels
Assist coworkers with their rooms
Follow all SOP and Policies that are in place
Follow all safety and security measures that are in place
Occasional laundry
Stock storage areas when needed
Comply with all reasonable requests made by management
Qualifications:
Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
Must be available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
Must have great customer service skills – all of our positions come into contact with guests!
