Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas efficiently and thoroughly
• Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless
• Perform detailed floor care including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and spot cleaning as needed
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department
• Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring all spaces are welcoming, tidy, and hygienic at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hotels or similar environments
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces including carpets, tile, and hardwood
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service expectations
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Effective time management skills to complete assigned tasks promptly
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
