Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic and inviting space
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by performing regular cleaning routines
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and supplies to meet guest needs and hotel standards
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks and operate cleaning equipment responsibly
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and quality standards to deliver consistent service excellence
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on detail-oriented tasks
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
- Strong custodial experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment management
