Full job description

Hiring for Guest Service Agent at an extended stay hotel. This position will mostly include evening and overnight shifts and is 4 shifts/32 hours per week. You will be checking guests in/out, taking payments, assisting guests with their needs/concerns, and other duties such as doing laundry and cleaning public spaces/office during your shift. Weekend and holiday availability is needed since we operate 24/7/365. Previous hotel or experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
– Answer phone calls and assist guests with inquiries or requests
– Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
– Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and problem-solving skills
– Process payments and maintain accurate records
– Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area, wash, dry and fold hotel linens.

Requirements:
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Proficient in using phone systems and computer software
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to handle cash transactions with integrity
– Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
