The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sebring is looking to hire a new Front Desk Agent to our team! You will be responsible for providing friendly and responsive service to guests, while also ensuring our commitment to a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the guests.

As a Front Desk Agent you will need to be able to welcome guests, assist them with check-ins and check-outs, register and assign guest rooms, issue room keys, make and confirm reservations via telephone or online as required, present statement to and collect payment from departing guests as needed.

  • Prior experience is encouraged
  • Customer/Guest service is a must for all positions
  • Flexible with shifts as they can vary from 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a overnights
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Quick paced
  • Able to multitask
  • Dependable and reliable

Duties

– Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
– Provide excellent customer support and address any concerns or issues raised by guests
– Maintain accurate records of guest information
– Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times

Skills

– Experience working in a hotel front desk setting is preferred
– Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
– Familiarity with hotel receptionist duties is a plus
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
– Knowledge of office management procedures and basic computer skills
– Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
