Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hotel Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance, and a proven track record in facilities management. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to ensuring all hotel systems function efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Fluency in English and excellent supervisory skills are essential for coordinating teams and communicating effectively across departments.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance across all hotel facilities.
  • Oversee the operation of HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Manage the implementation of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
  • Develop and oversee maintenance projects utilizing project management principles to improve facility operations.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to building systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including handling high voltage and electrical systems safely.
  • Monitor the condition of equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for repairs, upgrades, and new installations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for auditing purposes.
  • Lead facilities management initiatives to optimize energy efficiency, safety standards, and operational costs.
