Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service hours
• Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and arranging breakfast items to meet quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Support catering or banquet setups for special events or group breakfasts as needed
• Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed at all times in accordance with health regulations
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs or special requests

Skills

• Previous experience in kitchen work, food preparation or food service roles preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with buffet setup, bussing tables, or catering is a plus
• Customer service skills that foster guest relations and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Basic culinary skills including knife handling and meal preparation techniques
• Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
